S.M.A.R.T. Goal to improve english skills

The S.M.A.R.T. goal is a tool that can be used in companies also in personal development, this is an acronym that was created in 1981 by George T. Doran. The S.M.A.R.T is an initial letter of Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-Bound, this is the features of the goals to create a personal project example.

Specific means that you need to specify your goals in a very clear way, your goal needs to be tangible. (Mulder, P. 2018)

The second letter Measurable is about created quantitative goals, which means your goals need to be measured in numbers, you need to create KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for your goals, it is a way to become easy to measure your development and how much lack for achieving your goals.

Attainable means that your goals need to be a challenge, but not so hard the goal has to be at the same time reachable. (Mulder, P. 2018)

Realistic is a little bit similar to the letter "A", is about to know about your self or your company and make goals that are possible to fulfill.  (Mulder, P. 2018)

Time-bound is about creating terms to the goals, the objectives need to have time to finish, it is necessary to put some deadlines to your goal. (Mulder, P. 2018)

For example, it is possible to use this S.M.A.R.T goal to improve your English skills, the quantitive way to measure can be the grades in the IELTS exam, the goal can be score 70% in IELTS after one year, every three months you can apply for a simulator to check your development.
